Introduction
You must do your best to learn from the following bad practices, and avoid them, so that you do not make yourself a devil without knowing it. A devil simply means a doer of evils.
The Bad Practices
They are:
- Striking the trees with matchets and knives, as you pass by them along the roads.
- Cutting down a tree, when there is no obvious reason for doing so.
- Pulling down a tree or uprooting a plant because you are on funeral ceremony and its excitement.
- Smashing somebody’s windscreen, because you are demonstrating.
- Blocking the roads and causing traffic jam, because you are on procession or because you are on protest.
- Killing a harmless animal that missed its way into your house.
- Killing a lizard that fell into your bucket.
- Leaving a lizard to die inside the water, simply because it fell into your bucket or drum, while searching for food to eat.
- Keeping domestic animals like goats, fowls (chicken) without providing enough food and water for them. God did not put Adam and Eve inside the garden to while away their times. But, for Adam and Eve to take care of the garden, as written in the scriptures:
Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and keep it (to take care of the garden). Genesis 2:15-16
Here is a very sad encounter:
A woman bought some fowls, and kept them at home, and travelled to live a far away city, without providing any food or water for the fowls to drink. And there was no food, crumps or leftovers, outside the house, within the compound, for the fowls to eat.
Gradually, all the fowls died, one after another.
Even when the fowls laid and hatched eggs into several chicken, no food and no water was made available.
After some years, he brought three fowls again: two fowls and one hen.
Like the previous fowls, the new ones died off, one after the other. All because no food was available. One of the fowls hatched six eggs, but the chicken died off one by one, because no attention was given to them.
A month later, the two fowls hatched eggs again – one hen hatched six eggs; and the other hen, seven chicken.
When I phoned the husband and told him, he simply greeted me by saying, “Thank you,” and switched off his phone. Without caring about the precious lives of the hens and the new born chickens. Without caring about what the helpless animals will eat, from day to day. What a world of careless humanity?
- Leaving an animal to die in its self-inflicted entanglement.
- Smashing plastic chairs and tables because you are offended.
- Hitting people’s vehicles with hands, cane or iron.
- Keeping yourself busy recording video when somebody is fighting or in danger, especially where you can separate the fighters or save the person.
- Failure to warm somebody against harm or danger, such that the person falls into trouble. Refer to Ezekiel 33.
- Leaving the cattle to stray away or die in the gutters, because they belong to your enemies.
- Speeding on the roads, such that you kill the animals crossing the roads, when you supposed to patiently allow them to cross in safety.
- Behaving like evil spirits and demons, by wearing black dresses, torn or worn out dresses.
- Parading oneself about as a masquerade by wearing masks.
- Intentionally disobeying the laws of God.
- Refusal to hear and obey the end time messages and warnings of God.
- Wrong choice of freedom. People want to be free, carefree and therefore, careless. They want to be free, undisturbed. They fail to know that the worst form of freedom is uncontrolled freedom.
- Refusal to learn the truth, to receive instruction, to accept corrections and to accept guidance. They want to be free, and in the process they entangle themselves with the unbreakable chains of hell fire.
- Undue love of money, to the extent that people do anything possible to make money, without minding the severity and consequences of their crimes.
- Failure to be educated. To live without learning is the same as dying by a slow and sure way.
- Etc.
The Worst Aspect
The following are very bad indeed:
- Avoiding opportunities to render selfless services to people.
- Failure to assist the elderly, the aged and the handicapped people, who have no one to take care of them.
- Driving past he elderly and aged adults, without offering them a lift.
- Mocking any person, because of the person’s bad condition.
- Failure of public transport to carry the elderly and aged ones, because the driver and conductor are in haste to save time and make more money. Money and human life, which one is more important?
